Purchase terms

What your purchase includes

Stroke Caregiver prerelease access costs $197 once. There is no annual renewal for prerelease purchasers. Your course account includes the completed Keeping Your Friendships lesson, without its closing sales pitch, a written quick start, and a prerelease roadmap.

The complete course—four modules and eleven lessons—and the initial Reference Library are scheduled for October 30, 2026. The course is still in production. Additional modules will be added to your account as they become ready before complete delivery, and we will email you when new modules are available.

Updates and additions to this course and its Reference Library are included. Separately sold products, coaching, and services are not included.

Lifetime access

“Lifetime” means for the operating life of the Stroke Caregiver course—for as long as Stroke Caregiver continues to operate and make it available. In plain language, as long as we are in business.

Refunds and delivery changes

You can request a full refund at any time before the complete course is delivered, or within 30 days after complete delivery. No explanation is required. Email us from the address used for your purchase.

We process eligible refunds within five business days and send confirmation. Refunds return to the original payment method; your payment provider may take additional time to post the credit. Paid-course access ends after a full refund.

If a delivery delay becomes likely, we will contact purchasers before the scheduled date, explain the revised plan, and offer a full refund. The 30-day post-delivery refund period runs from actual complete delivery, not an earlier scheduled date or an early-module release.

Educational purpose

This course provides general education and lived-experience support. It is not individualized medical, rehabilitation, mental-health, legal, financial, or other professional advice, and does not replace qualified professionals who know your situation. No particular personal outcome is guaranteed.

Our initial sales test is directed to customers in the United States. The website itself may be accessible elsewhere.

Customer support

For questions about the course, your account, or a purchase, email [email protected]. We respond within two business days, Monday–Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. If resolving your issue takes longer, we’ll keep you informed.

Support covers course access, technical problems, billing, and clarification of course materials. It does not include individualized medical, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, or private medical records.

Privacy notice

Information we receive and why

When you request the free lesson, we collect your email address and subscription information to provide access, send the lesson link, and send the relevant follow-up disclosed on the form. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in an email.

When you purchase or use the course, our service providers process account, order, payment-status, refund, and course-use information to fulfill your purchase, operate your account, provide support, and maintain business records. Payment details are entered through the payment provider’s checkout. Do not send payment-card details to our support inbox.

If you contact us, we receive your contact information and the contents of your message. We use them to respond and resolve your request. We do not ask for stroke histories or medical records in our lesson-request forms.

Website technology and service providers

We use Kajabi to operate our website, course access, marketing email, and checkout, and Google Workspace for business email. Their supporting hosting, video, email, and payment services process information needed to provide those functions. Service providers may process information in the United States and other countries.

Our website and its service providers use cookies and similar technology for functions such as sessions, login, security, checkout, video playback, and usage measurement. Your browser lets you manage or delete cookies; disabling some cookies may prevent parts of the site from working. Third-party services, including YouTube when you visit or use it, also have their own privacy policies.

Information may also be disclosed when needed to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, or protect accounts, customers, and the service.

Optional Google Ads measurement

We use optional Google Ads measurement to understand which ads lead to requests for the free lesson. Our Google Ads tag stays off until you accept Google measurement, including by choosing Yes in our Google & Facebook ad measurement bar. Google may then receive browser and ad-click identifiers, your IP address, limited page information, and a signup event. We do not send names, email addresses, form contents, or medical details through this tracking. Enhanced conversions and advertising personalization, including remarketing, are disabled.

You can decline without losing access to the lesson or checkout, and change your choice using Cookie choice on our public lesson, homepage, or privacy page. We remember your choice for up to 180 days in a first-party cookie. Declining stops future Google Ads measurement from our tag; it does not erase information already sent. We honor a browser Global Privacy Control signal by keeping this measurement off. This control covers our Google Ads tag, not Kajabi’s service cookies or third-party video services. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Optional Facebook (Meta) lesson measurement

With your permission, we use the Meta Pixel only on the free lesson page to measure visits and help improve Facebook ad delivery. Meta may receive the page URL, referring URL, browser and cookie identifiers, ad-click identifiers, and your IP address. A recorded visit is not proof that you signed up, watched the lesson, or purchased. We do not supply your name, email address, form answers, or medical details in this event. Automatic advanced matching and automatic event detection are not enabled by our installation. See Meta’s privacy policy.

Choose Yes in the compact Google & Facebook ad measurement bar to allow both providers, or No to decline. An older Google-only acceptance does not authorize Meta: a separate prior Meta acceptance or a new combined Yes is needed. Declining does not affect lesson or checkout access. Cookie choice lets you change your decision on our homepage, lesson, and privacy pages. Choices last up to 180 days. No stops future measurement by these tags and clears their accessible first-party advertising cookies; it does not erase data already received by the providers. Global Privacy Control keeps both tags off. These controls do not manage Kajabi service cookies or third-party video services.

Email choices and privacy requests

Unsubscribing stops marketing follow-up; it does not cancel a purchase or prevent necessary account, transaction, support, or course-delivery messages. We retain the minimum information needed to honor an unsubscribe.

You can email us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or ask about our practices. We may need to verify your identity before acting. Some records may need to be retained for legal, tax, accounting, security, or dispute purposes. We will explain relevant limitations when responding.

How long we keep information

We review inactive email subscribers after 12 months and remove them unless there is a reason to retain the information, such as an ongoing customer relationship or a legal requirement. This is initially a manual review process, not automatic deletion on a fixed anniversary.

We retain purchase and refund records for tax, accounting, and dispute requirements, and account and support information as needed to fulfill purchases and resolve requests. Minimal unsubscribe records are retained so removed contacts are not inadvertently added back to marketing.

Updates and contact

We will update this page when our practices change and show the revision date above. Changes to this notice do not remove the purchase and refund commitments made when you bought the course. For questions or requests, contact Charles Rotter at [email protected] or the mailing address above.
